Our BTEC Business, A Level Business Studies, A Level Economics and Social Sciences students attended a Working Options Event in the Dalton Theatre today.
Working Options aims to help young people in education aim high and fulfil their potential. The organisation offers insights from industry experts, skills workshops, online content and even work experience.
At today’s event, we welcomed guest speakers, Dawn Laycock, from DiMensional and Kerren Ratcliffe, from Coca-Cola who delivered a motivation and inspiration session. This is designed to aid students to be confident about how to explore options after college and have a better understanding of what employers are looking for by sharing their own career experiences.
We would like to thank Dawn and Karren for taking the time to talk to our students today; they really enjoyed the event and came away with some really useful insights and information.
