For the third year running, Carmel is proud to be participating in the Oxford Ambassador Project for 2019!
On Friday our Head of the High Achievers’ Programme, Nicola Walker, and Humanities High Achievers’ Co-ordinator, Mike Graham, travelled to St Peter’s College, Oxford. The trip included a visit to the college campus where our staff enjoyed a range of interesting talks from the admissions departments. Additionally, Nicola and Mike had the opportunity to observe a mock enrolment interview.
They also met Geography professor, Marc Macias-Fauria, for a really positive discussion regarding the Ambassador Project. This year, Mike will be working alongside Dr Deborah Phillips (Geography) to develop a programme to help prepare Carmel’s Humanities students with the application and interview process at Oxford.
