Yesterday, our English Language students and three members of the department travelled to London.

The students visited the British Library to view its ‘Treasures Gallery’. They also visited to the former residence of Dr Johnson to learn about language change, and the importance of Johnson’s dictionary in context. They didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits and said it was a really enjoyable and worthwhile trip.
