Today our students gathered in the Dalton Theatre, to hear pearls of wisdom from guest speakers within the Business industry.

A Level and BTEC Business Studies students took part in a Working Options Event. The event focused on refining employability skills and motivation. Guest speakers Leila McKenzie (Managing Director of Leila McKenzie Associates) and Jamie Lomax (Senior National Account Manager at Tyrrells Crisps) gave candid and informative insights into their own careers. They offered ideas on how to develop essential skills and attitudes required for today’s modern workplace, drawing on their own personal success stories. We would like to thank Leila and Jamie for taking the time to speak to our students, it certainly gave them plenty to think about going forward with their studies.
