Our A Level 3D Design and Photography students recently visited Liverpool to explore the city’s incredible architectural heritage and find inspiration for their creative work.

A highlight of the trip was a visit to the iconic Royal Liver Building, where students took part in the 360° Tour. They discovered more about the building’s fascinating history, design and construction before heading to the top to experience spectacular panoramic views across Liverpool.

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore architecture from a different perspective, developing their understanding of form, structure, composition and scale, while capturing some fantastic imagery along the way.

It was a brilliant opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, gather creative inspiration and see how architecture and photography can work together to create striking visual work.
