On Wednesday 19th June we welcomed UCLAN’s Senior Lecturer in Music Theatre, Manny Crooks to our Dance Studio for a vocal and singing workshop.
Manny has an impressive background in musical theatre and performing arts, with years of experience working professionally in London creating roles for musicals, voice-overs for CITV and WWF, as well as working in the West End theatre as an accent and dialect coach. Most recently she has qualified as a wellbeing coach, hosting her own podcast; Wellbeing with Manny.
Her workshops focus on the sustainability of the voice, combining the most up to date scientific research in order to deliver the highest level of vocal training. Our staff and students who attended had a bespoke coaching session with Manny working on numerous techniques to enhance their vocal skills for a range of practices.
We’d like to thank Manny for visiting us and offering her guidance and expertise to those who attended the workshop.
