Well done to Upper Sixth BTEC Sport students, Taylor Prescott and Lewis Chorley, for taking part in part in an epic cycling, rowing and running challenge this summer!

It was ten years ago that Taylor’s late father, Steve Prescott took on the immense challenge of a 900-mile cycle ride across France, a 26-mile Dragonboat row from Windsor to Teddington and a half marathon to Wembley whilst battling with the rare cancer, Pseudomyxoma Peritonei.

Taylor and Lewis, along with 15 other cyclists found the stamina to complete the challenge to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation. It was an emotional journey for all of them and a fantastic learning experience. For the last part of the journey, Taylor also got to follow in his dad’s footsteps by placing the match ball on the centre spot ahead of the Saints – Warrington final at Wembley last Saturday.

Congratulations to both of you for such a fantastic achievement!
