Our A Level Spanish students enjoyed a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture today as they took part in an exciting interactive workshop led by Francisco, Valeria, and Lorna from Luma Creations.
The workshop explored the rich history, traditions, and cultural significance of carnivals across Latin America, with a special focus on the world-famous Oruro Carnival.
Students fully immersed themselves in the experience through music, dance, and hands-on activities. The session included the chance to play traditional instruments, learn a traditional Latin American dance, and even try on authentic carnival costumes.
Filled with energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, the workshop gave students a memorable insight into Latin American culture beyond the classroom.
A huge thank you goes to Francisco, Valeria, and Lorna for delivering such an inspiring and unforgettable cultural experience.
