Carmel’s Student Council President, Eva Carroll, delivered a 3 minute speech in the House of Commons.

Eva, who studies Politics, English Literature and History at Carmel, is a member of UK Youth Parliament. North West members voted for Eva to be debate lead at the annual sitting chaired by the speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

The debate included the top five issues from the Make Your Mark ballot as voted for by the young people of the UK. Eva’s fantastic speech was on the motion of tackling hate crime.
