Thirty of our PE students recently visited the National Football Museum in Manchester to provide an additional experience relating to their academic studies.

The visit involved a tour of the museum where students were able to learn more about the evolution of football from the codification and creation of The Football League right up to the present day and the development of the women’s’ game.

Several iconic exhibits were on display including World Cup winning jerseys and other significant memorabilia which helped students associate the significance of the game in our national psyche!

We look forward to a similar visit next year.
