As we round off Mental Health Awareness Week at Carmel, we treated students and staff to free ice cream in the sunshine alongside a wellness walk to Taylor Park.

Throughout the week, we’ve focused on promoting positive wellbeing with a range of activities including outdoor table tennis, our mental health message and information board, and a fabulous performance from our talented Performance students yesterday.

Earlier in the week, students and staff also wore green in support of the Mental Health Foundation, while the library was filled with wellbeing resources and decorations to encourage conversation and support.

It’s been wonderful to see our college community coming together to support one another, get active, take time to reflect, and enjoy moments of kindness and connection. Remember, wellbeing matters all year round. Taking time to get outdoors, stay active, talk to others and appreciate the little things can make a real difference.

Further information and support is available on the college VLE or visit the Mental Health Foundation website.
