Congratulations to our Lower Sixth Dual BTEC Business students, who have successfully completed their Event Management unit by planning, organising and delivering a series of exciting student-led events.

Over a six-day period, students took responsibility for creating and running six events for the college community, including football tournaments, bingo sessions and the popular Big Quiz. The project provided valuable opportunities for students to apply their business knowledge in a real-world setting while developing essential skills in leadership, teamwork, communication and event management.

The events proved to be a great success, engaging students across the college and fostering a strong sense of community involvement. Most notably, the students’ hard work, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit resulted in an impressive £1,098 being raised for Alfie’s Squad.

This outstanding achievement reflects not only the creativity and business acumen of our students, but also the core values of Carmel College, compassion, community engagement and making a positive difference to the lives of others.

We are incredibly proud of all those involved and commend them for transforming innovative ideas into meaningful action. Their success demonstrates the positive impact young people can have when they combine ambition, teamwork and a commitment to supporting worthy causes.

Well done to everyone who took part and contributed to this fantastic achievement.
