Well done to Lower Sixth Carmel student, Ina Colta, who alongside her A Levels, has also been learning about the Chinese language and culture since last September, in Carmel’s Confucius classroom.
Her teacher Xiaoxiao from the Confucius Institute at the University of Liverpool said, “Ina works very hard on her studies and aims to take the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK 1) in summer 2021. She is also very artistic and creative in painting classes.”
Ina has painted several Chinese art works, including a blue-and-white porcelain plate and other watercolour paintings to celebrate Chinese New Year on 12th February. Ina is studying A levels in Physics, Maths and Further Maths and plans to study Engineering or other Maths related degree at the University of Oxford.
