This year we are proud to share the adventures of our students taking part in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Qualifier for 2018. The expedition consists of a four day hike, as well as three nights camping and one wild camp. Their journey began on the morning of Thursday 30th August, where the team set off from the Ambleside Youth Hostel.

Day two saw plenty of sunshine, where the team began packing up their campsite. After a morning of trekking across the glorious countryside, students stopped for lunch at Tarn Hows; where they took in the beautiful sights of the lake and surrounding countryside. Some tired campers even had a chance for a sneaky snooze!

We cannot wait to see more updates from the Gold D of E team, well done on your progress so far. Watch this space for more news on how the students get on.
