Our A Level French students travelled to Rouen, France for their Work Experience placements!

We are so pleased to hear what our students have been getting up to on their Work Experience placements. On 24th February Head of Modern Foreign Languages, Yleana Morris, travelled to Rouen with our A Level students. The group started their journey in London, taking the train to Rouen-Rive-Droite station. Once they arrived students had the opportunity to look around the historic city and visit some of the iconic landmarks. However, our students were most excited about starting their work experience in a wide range of places such as:

  • Restaurants
  • Nurseries
  • Pharmacies
  • Schools
  • Cafés
  • Radio stations
  • Bowling alleys
  • Artist’s studio

Work Experience is an essential part of enriching students’ education at Carmel. As a result, we are so pleased to be able to offer this kind of support to supplement our students’ future career aspirations. We are so proud of our A Level French students for being so professional within their places of work. Additionally, we would like to thank all of the employers for offering our students such a fantastic opportunity.
