Former Graphic Design student, Michael McCue, has been in touch to let us know about his fantastic career as a Graphic Designer and Artworker at Ameritz Music, a Warrington-based music company. His main role is designing album and playlist artwork for Spotify, but he also designs posters and social media adverts for music events, including Cream Classical Steel Yard, and most recently an Orchestral Northern Soul night.

After completing his A Levels and the Art Foundation course at Carmel, Michael studied the first year of his Graphic Design degree here before continuing at the University of Salford.

Michael said “The BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree provided me with opportunities that made it easier to begin my career in design, and the skills and knowledge taught by Pete and Dave shaped me into a designer with a broad skill set. The course is fun but challenging, and a great way to develop your graphic design skills. I would recommend the course to anyone without hesitation, and the teaching staff are second to none. It is an exceptional course and anyone who wants to work in Graphic Design should consider applying.”

Michael has also kindly sent us some images of his fantastic designs!
