Former NBA player and current professional basketball player Ryan Richards visited us last term to deliver individual skill workouts and a Q&A session, providing valuable advice and insights.
Ryan who stands at 7ft 1 has extensive professional basketball experience after signing a professional contract at 15 with Gran Canaria, before eventually being drafted by NBA team San Antonio Spurs. After hearing of the work of our Basketball programme here at Carmel, Ryan offered to travel up from his home in Kent to deliver the workshop for our boys. We are really grateful for this fantastic opportunity!
