We’re pleased to share the success of former student Eliana Macaraig, who is currently completing her first year studying Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins.
After completing the UAL Diploma in Creative Practice at Carmel, Eliana has continued to develop her creativity, technical ability, and artistic confidence at one of the world’s leading art and design institutions.
Reflecting on her first year at university, Eliana said:
“So far my first year at CSM has been very challenging, but I’ve learnt so much and have been introduced to so many different pathways in graphic design. It’s perfect for those who love to try an array of techniques, from coding to etching. Carmel definitely prepared me for university, opening me up to try different things and showing me how to structure and organise my work.”
Carmel College has also announced that Eliana will return this summer to lead a workshop as part of the college’s Creative Careers Day. The event will give current students the opportunity to learn from Eliana’s experiences and gain insight into studying creative subjects at higher education level.
Staff at Carmel said they are looking forward to welcoming Eliana back to campus and inspiring the next generation of creative students through her journey and achievements.
