We were delighted to come together today for our annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, bringing colleagues from across Carmel together to enjoy a morning of coffee, cake and community, all while supporting an important cause.

This is a wonderful example of the Catholic Social Teaching principle of Solidarity, recognising that we are all connected and that we have a responsibility to stand alongside and support others, particularly those facing difficult times. By coming together as a community, we can make a positive difference to the lives of people living with cancer and their families.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for colleagues from across our departments to take a break, catch up and enjoy some delicious treats, while raising funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped organise the event and to all our colleagues who took part, donated and helped make the morning such a success.

At Carmel we are proud to support initiatives that bring our people together and make a positive difference in the wider community. Every cup of coffee, slice of cake and kind donation contributes to helping Macmillan support people living with cancer and their families.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Coffee Morning such a wonderful success!
