Thirteen of our A Level Classical Civilisation students enjoyed a Classics & Ancient History Day at the University of Liverpool.
The day included a range of workshops and activities from handling ancient Greek coins to exploring the Garstang Museum’s collection of Egyptian artefacts and remains.
Other highlights included an introduction to evolutionary anthropology in the university’s very own ‘cave’ and an imaginative storytelling session using LEGO to bring the ancient Mediterranean to life!
