We had lots going on in college this week for Carmel Reflection Wellness Week!
We kicked off the week with a lovely meditation session in the Chaplaincy, practicing staying centred and finding calm and inner peace. Tuesday we had ‘Odd Socks Day’ / Anti-Bullying Awareness, reflecting on the way we treat others. On Wednesday we were lucky enough to attend a fantastic wellness talk delivered by former professional rugby league player, Dan Sarginson. On Thursday it was time for some restorative yoga in the Dance Studio, improving mental clarity for reflection. To finish the week there was the opportunity to take part in a wellness walk to Taylor Park benefiting from green spaces.
Our Lower Sixth Graphic Design students also created a Wellness Window Exhibition to share messages about having a positive mindset and aspirational thinking.
It was a great week giving staff and students the opportunity to pause and reflect on the term so far.
