Saints Rugby star, Kyle Amor, prepares for his future by studying BSc (Hons) in Physical Education and Sports Science at Carmel University Centre.

Kyle is in his second year of the Liverpool Hope University degree. The programme is a full-time evening course at Carmel University Centre. Kyle has just secured an extension on his contact at Saints Rugby Club for another year. The degree qualification will be a fabulous asset to him in the future.

In a recent St Helens Star interview, Kyle reveals how he would prefer to end his career at Saints. He commented: “Ideally, I’d love to work hard and, with an element of luck, get another 12 months on my contract and finish my career at Saints, while also walking away with a degree in my back pocket.

“While I don’t plan on hanging up my boots any time soon, it’s important I put plans in place for what comes next.”

Kyle isn’t the only local rugby star that is benefiting from studying for a degree at Carmel University Centre. Aaron Smith and Mark Percival have also returned to the classroom too!

The BSc Physical Education and Sports Science is just one of the degree programmes offered at Carmel University Centre.
