Carmel celebrates Pride 2019 by hosting our very own Pride Week!
Our Student Council arranged a week full of events and activities to help promote equality and diversity around campus. Throughout the week rainbow themed wristbands and lanyards have been on sale for the event. We also welcomed guest speakers from the NHS and former Carmel student, Ben Hodge, who visited us to show support and offer advice to the college community.
Today we sported vibrant colours to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. At lunch time the Student Council also organised a quiz and bingo, hosted by the one and only: Amanda Hug-N-Kiss.
