What a fantastic start to the season for Carmel College’s girls’ hockey team!

In their first fixture, they stormed to a 5–1 away victory against Liverpool College, showcasing skill, teamwork, and determination.

Goals came from Katy Horton (2), Sophie Mortimer (2), and Molly Mulcahy (1), with each player contributing to a brilliant team performance. Molly Mulcahy was named Player of the Match for her outstanding attacking play, while Katy Horton impressed so much in midfield that she earned Liverpool College’s Player of the Match.

The match highlighted the team’s cohesion, energy, and sportsmanship, setting a high standard for the season ahead. We’re so proud of every player, an incredible team effort and a brilliant way to kick off the season!
