Carmel transport options 21-22

The College will be resuming normal services for the 21-22 academic year. There will be no lunch time contracted services. This was provided as a result of the reduced timetable during the pandemic only. If using contracted college transport, students will be expected to utilise free time in study centres/library/etc. until their transport is due. Timetable provided.

On public services the latest Government guidance will apply. This is updated regularly on the Government website. At time of print, the Government has removed the requirement to wear face coverings in law, but expects and recommends they are worn in enclosed and crowded spaces where individuals may come into contact with people they do not normally meet. This includes public transport and dedicated transport to college.

College contracted services (i.e. Warrington and Widnes college buses) are classed as dedicated further education and skills provider transport. No members of the public will be allowed to travel on our services. College will be recommending that contractors continue to make hand sanitizer available on boarding and disembarking and that vehicles will be subject to thorough cleaning operations. Use of face coverings are not currently a requirement in law, however it is expected and recommended that they are worn where appropriate.
