We marked Black History Month this October with an Art and Poetry Competition, celebrating the creativity, talent and thoughtful reflections of our students.

The competition attracted some fantastic entries, each exploring themes of Black history, culture and achievement. Through their artwork and poetry, students shared powerful messages and celebrated the contributions of inspiring individuals.

The competition also provided an opportunity to reflect on our college values, particularly human dignity and the common good, recognising the importance of celebrating diversity and creating a community where everyone is valued and respected.

Congratulations to our competition winners:

  • Blessing Kinkela
  • Marvellous Akerele
  • Danita UkpomaMax

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and shared their creativity. We are incredibly proud of all our students who helped make this year’s Black History Month celebration so special.
