Last week, Carmel College joined fellow teacher training providers from across the region to celebrate the achievements of the Catholic Teaching Alliance (CTA) PGCE graduates as they completed their training year.

The celebratory event brought together graduates, mentors, and colleagues to recognise the dedication, resilience, and commitment demonstrated throughout their journey into the teaching profession. The service marked an important milestone for the trainees as they reached the end of their initial teacher training.

Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed refreshments and spent time reflecting on their experiences over the past year. It provided an opportunity to share memories, acknowledge achievements, and celebrate the strong professional relationships built throughout the programme.

The CTA PGCE programme continues to play a vital role in preparing high-quality teachers for schools across the region, supporting trainees as they develop their skills, confidence, and classroom practice.
