Our college community came together last week to celebrate the first Mass of the new academic year, led by Fr Dominic from Our Lady Immaculate and St Joseph Church in Prescot. The occasion marked a meaningful and reflective start to the year ahead.
During the Mass, students and staff were invited to reflect on the college’s mission through the use of symbols representing different areas of college life. These powerful visual reminders helped bring our shared values to life and encouraged everyone present to consider how they contribute to the wider college community.
Fr Dominic also spoke thoughtfully about the importance of our chapel as a dedicated space for reflection, prayer and personal growth, highlighting its role in supporting both spiritual and personal development throughout the academic journey.
The celebration was made even more special by the active involvement of our students, alongside the presence of staff, governors and Fr Dominic himself. Together, they created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly reflected the spirit of our college.
It was a wonderful way to begin the new academic year, grounding us in our mission and strengthening our sense of community as we move forward together.
