Chemical Sciences Degree with a Foundation Year

This four-year Chemical Sciences Degree Programme aims to provide a broad coverage of all aspects of Chemistry with the foundation year at Carmel College. During the foundation year, in addition to the compulsory Chemistry and Mathematics modules, students will choose one module from Biology, Physics or Geography.
By successfully completing the programme of study for the foundation year, students can progress on to the following programmes within the Department of Chemical Sciences:-
- F100 Chemistry
- F111 Chemistry with a Year in Industry
- F1B2 Medicinal Chemistry
