By Rail
Carmel College is only 10 minutes walk from both Thatto Heath and Eccleston Park Rail stations. These stations are on the main line between Wigan North Western station and Liverpool Lime Street station. For timetables and costs, contact The Trainline on 0870 010 1296 or visit www.thetrainline.com

By Car or Bike
We would prefer our students not to travel to College by car.  Although we have an agreement with our neighbours West Park Rugby Club for student parking, space is very limited and they currently charge £1.50 per day. It is also very difficult to park on the main roads near to college without blocking local residents' driveways.  The local police and parking attendants are very strict and will award fixed penalty notices and even have cars towed away if they are not parked legitimately. 

If you prefer to travel to College by moped or bicycle, there is a designated parking area within the College grounds.

By Bus
Public Transport Travelling from Liverpool (and surrounding areas)

• No: 10 route from Liverpool City Centre to St Helens via Prescot Road and stops outside the College.
• No: 10A route from Liverpool City Centre to St Helens via Prescot, Nutgrove stopping on Prescot Road, Toll Bar (opposite the Spar shop – 5 minute walk).
• No: 89 route from John Lennon Airport through Huyton to Toll Bar (5 minute walk).
• No: 97 route from Prescot through to Toll Bar (5 minute walk).
