5 staff accompanied 43 students to Altenmarkt in Austria for this year's ski trip.
Flachau was the main area of skiing and had enough variation to test the beginners all the way through to the advanced group.
The sun was beaming for the entire week and the progression of all groups was amazing. All the beginners were able to do blue runs by the end of day 3 and the intermediates and advanced group were flying all over the mountain doing jumps and ‘Off piste’ routes.
The Après-ski was a big hit too - students visited local bars, had a staff games evening, a disco / bowling night and a ‘Luminous night’ where everyone went to a local club dressed in fluorescent gear! All in all, the trip was a huge success enjoyed by staff and students alike. Next year there are rumours of Canada… so watch this space!
