Four of Carmel's talented Maths students teamed up recently to compete in the regional heats of the Senior Team Mathematics Challenge held at the University of Liverpool.

Matthew Blundell, Sam Vivers, Amy McKeon and Michael Barrowman were pitted against 21 other teams from the region.  The competition consisted of 3 rounds of different styled questions designed to test their mathematical communication and teamwork skills.  The Challenge definitely brought out the competitive spirit and Team Carmel came a very creditable 5th overall. Well done to all four students!
