Carmel College welcomed more than 800 students to the annual New Student Conference Day today.

Students from over 40 high schools visited us to “have a go” at the AS subjects they had chosen to take in September. Some enjoyed the challenge of dissecting a lung, others had a sample taste of Russian, some got involved in a mini Dance workshop, others took part in an enterprise activity. All in all there was something for everyone. The day has been a roaring success. Not only has the sun shone all day, but the radiant smiles on the students’ faces as they left Carmel at the end of the day show how much they have enjoyed themselves.
