From this September, the catering facilities at Carmel College will be operated by abm catering ltd, an independent contract caterer with a highly successful track record in providing services for Colleges across the UK.
The College’s main service has now been expanded to provide an even greater variety of exciting food offers. All main meals served at the College are freshly prepared on site each day, made with quality local ingredients. New brands include TUGO – offering either slices of pizza or whole ones to share, plus an extensive pasta selection – and Love Joes – which features a range of stuffed wraps.
The restaurant’s deli service now offers the new subcentral range, a salad bar and hot jacket potatoes. With an array of options, from crisp lettuces and juicy tomatoes, to sweet chilli noodles and chicken & bacon pasta, the salad bar offers a choice to suit everyone. Jacket potatoes can be topped with any combination of fillings to be hot and satisfying or light and healthy. Subcentral gives you the choice of various warm breads, hot or cold fillings – including Mediterranean Meatballs and Spicy Bean – and whichever salad and sauce combo you want, all for a low, value for money price.
A café bar service is also available for students, featuring a new Costa Coffee offer, with high quality coffees, teas and hot chocolates. The café also sells a variety of fresh food products, including a range of panini, sandwiches and salads, plus homemade cakes and a selection of Fairtrade products.
