Two volunteers from 103, St Helens Centre for the Homeless visited Carmel’s Justice and Peace Group today.

Jean and Jim were presented with a cheque for £250, some airbeds, and some clothing for centre users. They also spoke movingly of the work of the centre, the challenges it faces, and the rewards when a client is re-housed and moves on in their life. The Christian faith underpinning all that is done was clearly evident. All agreed that the links between college and 103 are mutually enriching and will continue in the future.
