Carmel College hosted a fashion show on Thursday 11th March in conjunction with St Helens RLFC. The event was organised by nine A2 Applied Business Studies students as part of their coursework to showcase the latest kits and new clothing range on offer at Saints.
Models from across college together with AS Dance students helped to make the event a resounding success, with the Dalton Theatre at full capacity!
The Show also featured a guest appearance from Saints player James Graham, together with club mascots Boots and St Bernard.
Gordon Pennington, Saints Marketing and Communications Director, described the event as 'Brilliant' applauding the hard work and commitment of the students, and calling it 'the best fashion show Carmel has put on to date'.
The A2 students sold merchandise throughout the week achieving excellent sales targets, of which a percentage will be donated to Sport Relief. Alongside this, a range of Saints signed merchandise was raffled, the proceeds of which are going to Willowbrook Hospice.
Alison Woodcock, Business Tutor, commented 'I am really proud of the students. They showed dedication, hard work and professionalism throughout this project and acted as great ambassadors for Carmel College, strengthening our links with an important community partner.'
